Laborers together with Christ

Ministries

CHILDREN
We believe it is important to assist parents in making disciples of their own children! To help you in this, we have Sunday School classes for all ages. During the morning worship we have nursery for children age 4 and under and a Kid’s Worship Guide for children 5 and up in our worship gathering.
Missions
We want to make Jesus known near and far. While we focus on making disciples in Greenwood, we support missionaries on almost every continent. Our people give sacrificially to help those who have been called to serve outside of our area. We pray regularly for our missionaries and look for opportunities to visit and help on the field.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday mornings are a great time for all ages to grow in the Word of God! We use material that is grounded thoroughly in Scripture, whether it is a book or subject study. We have groups for adults, teens, and children. All of our groups meet at 9:30 am. Come join us for a great chance to grow in your faith.
MUSIC
Our worship services and music are Christ-centered and from our hearts. We incorporate a blend of new and old psalms, hymns and spiritual songs to worship Jesus and glorify His name. Using piano, acoustic guitar and other instruments, you will find our music joyfully appropriate for worship. Our primary choir is our congregation!
PRAYER
We know that we can accomplish nothing of eternal value without the power of God. We incorporate prayer in all we do, asking God to work His will in our church, community and our lives. As a church we gather for prayer two Sunday nights a month after our discipleship groups meet.
SERVING TEAMS
We have several teams that our people can serve on, including Community Care (outreach and evangelism), Family Care, Property Care, Hospitality, Nursery, and Fellowship.

Discipleship Groups

While we believe that cross-generational relationships are vital to a healthy church (which is why our Sunday morning and 2nd and 4th Sunday evening prayer times are so important to us), we also know that it is good to gather in smaller groups for focused discipleship. These groups meet at various times through the week and month.
MEN
We want to encourage men to follow Christ so that their manhood conforms to his image and not to the masculine ideals of the world. Our men, young men, and teens meet two Sunday nights a month for teaching, small groups, and fellowship along with occasional projects and fellowships together.
YOUTH
Our youth meet on Wednesdays during the school year. We strive to keep them embedded in the life of the church so they can learn from all ages. We have youth activities of all kinds throughout the year. We have a four year discipleship approach to help parents disciple their teens into Christian maturity as an adult.
WOMEN
Our women strive to follow the pattern Paul set forth in Titus 2 of older women discipling younger women. Our ladies, young ladies, and teens meet two Sunday nights a month for teaching, small groups, and fellowship along with occasional fellowships together. Women of any age are welcome to join!
Seniors
Our seniors gather two Tuesdays a month for SALT (Senior Adults Learning Together). This is a time of fellowship around the Scripture and with each other. They also occasionally meet in homes for fellowship meals. Come be encouraged as you follow Christ together! Check out our church calendar for exact dates and times.
Young pros
Young Pros are singles and couples who are post-college age through 30. Our Young Pros gather monthly to eat together and enjoy good fellowship with others who are like-minded and at the same stage of life. This group is intimately involved in serving our church together in a variety of ways!
College
The college years are extremely important for a believer, and our church seeks to invest in these students. Our pastor has served this age group for over 20 years and still loves to mentor and just hang out with students.  Students will find the church and our college ministry a great place to fellowship and grow.
