This past Sunday we had the wonderful privilege to help a young Christian family acknowledge the Lordship of Christ over their family through the dedication of their son. I referenced I Corinthians 7 in my remarks noting that, "What we are doing doesn’t save (the toddler) but we DO recognize that children of believers are, in God’s gracious and loving plan, some way made holy and set apart."
What exactly does that mean? Is it part of the grounds for infant baptism as some might say? Here is a helpful article by Tom Schreiner on what it means for the children of a believer to be made holy.
